When I was working for Sadowsky-Berlin, we were hired by the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem to make them a better map than they had. The old map made the zoo seem smaller than it was and causing complaints.

The map I made gives a better idea of the size of the zoo and walking distances. It also looks much better :)

To help visitors find their way around, I picked several landmarks and made icons of them to add to the map.

The old map was based on this satellite image, but since the zoo is on a mountainside, the distances got distorted.

So I spent a day counting steps in the zoo and marking them on the map to get correct proportions!
